Accrediting associations have expectations that call on institutions to collect and use evidence of student learning outcomes at the programmatic and institutional to confirm and improve student learning. This study examines the impact that the new accreditation requirements (EC2000) have had on engineering graduates by examining the differences in educational outcomes of graduates from 1994 to those of 2004. The findings of the study suggest that the accreditation criteria are indeed having an influence in the curriculum and in the students’ experiences.
